After a career spanning almost 5 decades, Cavalli has finally earned the recognition he deserves as a red carpet guru, a designer of the boho and a reflection of the bonhomie of modern life. Fashion came naturally to Cavalli; his grandfather was Giuseppe Rossi, an Impressionist painter, and his enrolment into the Academy of Art in Florence allowed him to consider his choices. He chose fashion and, decades later, he still bursts onto the scene each season with a fresh set of ideas. His jewellery line still bears the semblance of art and style he grew up with, and his own ideas reflect the perennial nature of boho chic.
